We have gathered all of our I Can statement standards for kindergarten. We hope this makes it easier to access all of our kindergarten resources.
Within this post you will find The Curriculum Corner’s free collection of “I Can” resources for kindergarten.
We have gathered all of our Common Core resources for kindergarten.
Our goal is that this makes it easier to access all of our kindergarten resources.
You will find a similar set on our site for each grade level.
These statements were written by Jill & Cathy at The Curriculum Corner.
You will find that common language is used between grade levels. Therefore making it easier for a school to use the complete set.
Also, we have provided a variety of resources to meet your needs.
These resources include checklists which are great for teachers to use to check off as standards are taught, retaught, assessed, etc.
How should I use these kindergarten “I Can” statements?
Because this collection provides a wide range of resources, you will be able to find ideas that will fit your classroom.
You might use the checklists for tracking as you plan for the year. These will make it easier for you to make sure you have taught, retaught and assessed each skill.
The checkboxes can be used to help students track their own growth. These can then make it easier to communicate progress with parents during report card time or conferences.
Individual statements might be displayed to inform students the focus for the day.
These are just a few ideas to get you started! We are sure there are additional ideas you will think of when using our kindergarten “I Can” Statements.

First of all, thank you for the amazing resources you offer. I was looking at your I Can Statement check boxes. For grades 1-3 I found them without the CCSS listed. I haven't been able to locate the ones w/o the standards listed for other grade levels. Are those available? Thanks

Hi Linda and thanks for your inquiry. We started with taking off the standards for the primary grades to see if that was something people might use. Until now we haven't had any requests for other grade levels which is why we haven't done them yet. We may still add that to our editorial calendar! Thanks for your comment!
