What you will find in this Arctic word work collection:
Word cards – these include words with matching pictures and words without pictures. Many animals found in the Arctic are included.
Task cards – there are 24 cards with activities involving the word cards. You can place the complete set in a basket for students to choose from or narrow down the options.
Recording pages – this set includes the lined pages needed to complete the activities on the task cards.
We have also included blank pages for adding your own words and tasks.
Setting up your Arctic word work centers
When creating this set, we envisioned the printables being used at a word work center.
Because there are many task options, it will be easy to create a week or even two week’s worth of word work using this download.
You might also choose to give students choice by providing two or three activities each day.
