Inspiration for the creation
I am seeing so many students struggling with organization this year. It is really impacting student growth and I am looking for ways to help students. Because of this, I have been playing around with different assignment notebook formats.
For this download, I am sharing a variety of formats.
These pages can help students build time management skills. Along with this, they will help with communication between the classroom and home.
Make sure you model for students your expectation. You might begin this procedure by filling out the notebook together each stay. Once students know the process, they can begin working independently on this task.
My goal in implementing this with my students is that they will be empowered to take ownership of their growth. They will be able to clearly track their assignments and the completion of their work. Depending on the format chosen, they might also be asked to identify a strength and weakness for the week.
