Add these funny children’s books (funny read alouds) to your classroom library.

Who doesn’t love sitting and listening to a new story? It’s even better when it will add a smile to the faces of your students.

We spent a few hours at our local Barnes & Noble book store to check out new titles and talk with them about books they love for kids right now.  

After our trip to the bookstore, we created the following list of a few of our favorites we found.

But this list is just for fun and are PERFECT for when you need something fun to add to your day.

This list has books that have funny pictures, gross words and hilarious story lines.  Some are just plain silly and will give your students a laugh.  

In any case check out some of these books if you need a short breather from your daily curriculum and just want to have a laugh with your students!  It can REALLY help rejuvenate the readers and writers inside of your kids!

Books that will make your students giggle can be perfect for standardized testing. Or, maybe you will choose one after a few rainy days with too much indoor recess!
