These summer goal setting printables will help you encourage your students to keep reading and practicing math facts over the summer.
We know summer has started which means it’s time to relax and take a break from all of the nightly homework! However, if your families are like ours, you still like to encourage your children to engage in a little math and reading to keep them from regressing over the summer.
It’s so easy for those math facts and sight words to slip away without practice!
We have created two different goal setting sheets to help you keep your children on track.
Print these pages and have each of your children set a personal goal. Have them think about how often they will practice math or reading, how they will practice and for how long.
If you plan on rewarding your children for their hard work over the summer, make sure to include this on the goal sheet so their reward can be a reminder.
We’ve also included a reward certificate to use when students have met their goals.
Summer Goal Setting Printables
When August rolls around and school starts over, we know that so many parents dread the nightly homework battles! This is especially true as your children become older and math becomes more difficult. How often does your child come home with math homework and forget his or her book!?!
We know in our homes, it happens often. o see how the tutoring sessions are progressing. Plus, if we are trying to assist our student, we can look to see the explanations of the tutor to help us as parents.
