These free math fact sorting cards are designed by The Curriculum Corner to give your students math fact practice in the classroom.
These math fact sorting cards are designed as a way to give your students another way to practice their basic facts.
We suggest printing these cards on card stock and then laminating for durability.
These addition and subtraction cards are designed to be used at a sorting center. They can become a math center or be used during your morning welcome time.
You might also choose to create sets of these cards to send home as math fact practice. Sometimes the hands on action of sorting is more meaningful to students than completing a worksheet.
We have included all facts so you might want to narrow down what you are offering your students.
For example, you might put the answers 8, 9 and 10 at a center along with the facts that equal 8, 9 or 10.
Because we have included so many facts, it will be easy to modify this center for different students. One student might be ready for a large sort while another might be provided with only 20 cards.
Be sure to not overwhelm students who might need to be provided with fewer cards. Help students who need more practice to build their confidence and then work on challenging them.
