Weather Collection of Resources for Teachers and Homeschool Families
This is another free collection of resources for teachers from The Curriculum Corner.
Add our free weather collection resources to your activities focused on weather.
We have worked to create a collection of resources perfect for your weather study in the classroom.
The weather resources we are sharing below cover a range of topics and grade levels. Many of the resources focus on the primary grades.
We hope everyone is able to find an item or two that is perfect for their students!
Within our collection, we have included literacy centers that focus on word work. Some students will enjoy working with our scrambled sentences for pocket charts.
Another set of centers in our weather collection focuses on science skills and includes reading thermometers.
Our severe weather unit of study will help children learn about weather events such as tornadoes, hurricanes and blizzards. Also included is work to help children learn how to prepare for events.
You will find a few favorite book studies that focus on the weather with topics including snow and rain.
Also, work on writing skills with some of our lessons. Students can practice writing like scientists or even develop their writing skills while using Seymour Simon as a mentor author.
You can access each free resource by clicking on the images below.
