You can have students play them as a morning entry task or as math fact practice during your math time.
Another option is to send home these game for students to practice at home. They can play with a parent or a sibling.
How to play these Valentine’s Day multiplication games:
Multiplication BUMP!
This is a two player game. Students will need two dice. Each player will need ten markers of one color.
The first player will roll two number cubes and multiply the numbers. They will cover that space with a marker. Students can bump their partner’s space. Children can lock their spot by placing two markers on the space. The first player to use all of their markers is the winner.
There is also a version of this game that will be played with two, 10-sided dice.
Four in a Row
This is a two player game. Children will need markers. Each player will need their own color.
The first player chooses two numbers from the top. They will then multiply the numbers.
The player will find the product in the large square and cover it with a marker. The first player to get four in a row is the winner.
