Character Traits Lesson Plan & Materials Differentiating between character traits and physical traits is a skill that children are first introduced to in the primary grades. However, children often need a review of the difference between the two as they progress in elementary school. This lesson plan includes an anchor chart on character and physical traits along with a graphic organizer that can be used. The links to the CCSS standards addressed are included and we’ve even shared a modification to make the lesson meet standards for 5th grade students.
