Morning Mind Spark Slides
I am always looking for engaging ideas to put on my projector as students enter the classroom. I want something that will spark conversations.
I’ve spent some time testing out some ideas with my students this year. I landed on four categories that seemed to be the most popular with my students.
In this set, I created 60 slides. If we get through them and students enjoy them, I will work on a different set of slides with slightly different categories.
These slides include the following:
Solve the Anagram
Students will unscramble the letters to form a word. All letters in each set will be used to make the word.
What do you think?
This includes a question that might be similar to a question during community circle. You can have students write a quick response on a white board, on a post-it note, or in a notebook. Or, you might encourage students to talk about their answer as they enter the classroom.
Did you know?
This box includes an interesting fact. There are many different subjects covered in these!
Answer the Riddle
Each box includes a riddle for students to figure.
Along with the 60 slides, you will also find the answers to the anagrams and riddles.
