These booklets can also be helpful for parents looking to grow their own libraries at home.
Using this snowflake booklet
Begin by printing this booklet on regular, white copy paper. You can print single-sided or front to back.
Next, cut the pages in half. You will assemble your booklets and staple them on the end.
Students will need a pencil and crayons or colored pencils to complete these booklets.
They can be used as a morning entry task or at a literacy center.
To complete the booklet, students will complete the following tasks:
- Coloring
- Tracing
- Word hunt
- Writing
- Breaking apart a compound word (snow + flake)
- Drawing
- Finding the snowflakes
Once completed, have students add them to their bag of books.
Or, send them home for children to read at home with their families.
